A Considered Response | Relocating from ageing and severely constrained inner-city premises, WuChopperen secured a generous greenfield site in Manoora, adjacent to Moody's Creek. Following a rigorous community briefing process, GGI designed a facility that is both functionally comprehensive and deeply connected to place. Encompassing an operating theatre, dental practice, general and allied health services, administration offices, and large meeting rooms, the building is organised around intuitive circulation principles, with strong, welcoming connections to external spaces and waiting areas. 

Identity & Belonging | Materials and colours were chosen for their resonance with the land and region. Indigenous artwork threads through the design from the entry path to a striking feature stained glass window — ensuring the community's culture is present and celebrated at every threshold. 

A subsequent mental health building, added as a complementary service, completed an integrated and holistic approach to community wellbeing.
